Backing founders who build the funding, governance and coordination systems that governments and multilaterals adopt.
The founders come out of Funding the Commons, a global network that has convened builders, funders, researchers and policymakers since 2021, and Commons Lab, the incubator that backs the strongest of them through incorporation and their first pilots. Commons Fund is the investment vehicle for what comes out of that pipeline.
The first cohort happens in El Salvador in October 2026.
Led by David Casey, who led Funding the Commons at Protocol Labs before taking it independent in 2023.
